Very often, new cars are transported by road, rail, and sea. They embark on long journeys from the end of the production line to their final destinations at dealerships, and eventually to your driveway. During these trips, they frequently end up in distribution compounds, awaiting the next leg of their journey exposed to the elements with very little protection, or covered with transportation foil and tape. (Sometimes, you can see cars “wrapped in white film” on transportation lorries).

These cars require a fair amount of preparation before the application of either protective ceramic coating or paint protection film.

This is why, if you want your car to look its best, it will need a full decontamination (to remove all dirt accumulated during transportation), paint polishing (to improve color gloss and color depth, and to rectify even the smallest post-production marks and micro-scratches).
