 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was recommended to Konings Car Detailing by a local paint shop in Winchester, as being a company that could remove minor scratches caused by car washers leaning over the bonnet and getting too close to hedges.
I was warmly greeted by the company's owner, Mike Laskowski, who examined my car and then gave me 3 options of how the scratches could be removed and protection against stone chips, namely a basic polish, a ceramic polish and finally, what can be best described as covering the car in cling film.  In fact it is a Paint Protection Film called Ultimate Plus (XUPL).
Mike then demonstrated on another car in his workshop by first using a bronze brush, similar to a suede shoe brush, and rubbing over the car bonnet.  As you would expect this produced a lot of minor scratches.  He then used a hair dryer to blow warm air over the scratches, which disappeared before my eyes.  Mike stated that warm sunny weather would have the same effect.
Needless to say I chose the 3rd option.  The work is covered by a 10 years warranty, which is transferrable to a new owner.
Whilst the treatment is not cheap the result is absolutely stunning and will remain so for years to come, enhancing the car's value should I decide to sell my car in the future.
I can highly recommend Konings Car Detailing if you want a car that always looks like you have just driven it out of the showroom.
Mike's previous experience of working for McClaren and Rolls Royce clearly shows in his genuine knowledge of bodywork and paint finishes and his pride in producing with his team a first class finish.

It is very rare that I write a review for any products, goods or services and provide a recommendation, however on this occasion I feel compelled to write a review. Konings at Winchester transformed my car, a black Porsche Cayenne S. Konings applied a chameleon metallic green PPF, it is stunning.  They also undertook internal detailing and treatment to all the leather work and applied clear PPF to the piano black surfaces.  The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. It was a real pleasure dealing with Mike, the owner of the business. Mike was very thorough to explain the whole service provision and what I would expect as a finished product and I was not disappointed with the outcome.  The team at Konings did a remarkable job, on time, within the agreed price and to the desired quality standard. They did a fantastic job. The car still looks better than it did when it left the factory and is now also protected with the best Xpel ppf. I'd definitely recommend Konings detailing
